Parents teach us to prepare for life

During my life I have found it is very important for children to listen carefully to their parents and grandparents. They can learn much from them.

I distinctly remember my grandfather telling me in those early years that everything I said or thought or did was in some almost magical way recorded — that someday I would have to be judged according to what I had said, thought and done. This did not frighten me, but it gave me a growing sense of responsibility for my actions.
