Keogh will represent HD 92 well

We are writing to endorse Connie Keogh for House District 92. She brings years of personal and professional experience to this race including leadership skills, teaching experience and the “can do” attitude honed from years of hard work on the south-central Montana ranch where she grew up.

Keogh has been our representative in HD 91 the past three legislative sessions. Due to redistricting, she is now running to represent HD 92. We were extremely pleased with Keogh’s representation when she served HD 91. We found her to be an extremely dedicated, competent, hard-working and responsive representative. We emailed questions and comments to Keogh numerous times during the six years she represented us, and she always replied — usually within 24 hours. By contrast, we also emailed the previous HD 92 representative numerous times during the same time period — and never received a single response from him.

Geographically, most of HD 92 is rural and needs a representative that understands the needs of rural communities. Keogh understands rural Montana. She was raised on a ranch near Roscoe, Montana and after marrying, moved to her husband’s family ranch near Nye, Montana. Professionally, she taught elementary and special education for over 20 years. She has a special interest in Montana’s rural communities, education and conservation issues. Keogh is also an outdoors person who believes that public lands are critical to our quality of life. She understands that public lands are crucial for the clean air and water that make our communities livable, and they are what makes the outdoor recreation economy thrive in Montana.

As part-time residents of HD 92, we look forward to Keogh continuing to serve us in the state Legislature. We encourage you to vote for Connie Keogh.
