Stormie Rose Kelley Gawronski

Stormie Rose Kelley Gawronski left this world at 1:11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024. We are comforted to know that she was joined with her mother in heaven.

Stormie was born Friday, September 11, 1987 in Missoula, Montana. Her loving parents, Kevin Kelley and Judy McKean-Kelley were overwhelmed with joy. Her entry into this world was turbulent. Stormie was born with severe MAS (Meconium Aspiration Syndrome). Her very first breath drew deadly poisons into her little lungs.

Stormie was a fighter from day one. That evening the doctors were able to revive her after her heart stopped. They even had to put her into a medically-induced coma. Stormie survived all the odds. Right from the start we knew she was one in a million. Stormie was a fearless child, she learned at a young age how to climb out of the crib and across the dresser so she could sleep with her older sister, Willie. Stormie loved to be outside, whether playing at the school with her older brother Beau, camping at the lake with her cousins, or putting on camouflage to go hunting with her dad. Stormie also loved photography, some of her work was published in the local newspaper. One even got on the front page. She was incredibly talented and hardworking.

Stormie grew up in Seeley Lake and attended Seeley Lake Elementary School and Seeley-Swan High School. She finished her schooling at Job Corps in Anaconda. She then moved to Missoula at 18, where she met her first husband and gave birth to her girls, Nova and Shilo. Later, after the divorce, Stormie met the love of her life Calvin Gawronski, with whom she moved mountains. The two of them had countless adventures, whether attending concerts or digging crystals in the mountains, or finding joy on their claim in Idaho, they were always together. Anyone who spent time with Stormie and Calvin was surrounded by their love for one another and their laughter. The two of them moved back to Seeley Lake in 2021, and while Stormie had numerous other joyful personal and professional moments, nothing mattered more to her than when they were blessed with their beautiful daughter, Vivian Louise Gawronski.

Stormie Rose will never be forgotten, and will forever be loved and missed. Stormie is preceded in death by her mother, Judy McKean-Kelley and her father-in-law, James Gawronski. She is survived by her beloved husband Calvin Gawronski, her daughters Nova Kay Lynn Hofman, Shilo Rose Hofman and Vivian Louise Gawronksi, as well as her father Kevin Kelley, sister Willie Freyholtz, brother Beau Shoupe, nephew Kolten Zurmuehlen, niece Taylor James Salvino, grandmother Linda Ann Kelley, and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Stormie's memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, 11 a.m. at the Community Hall in Seeley Lake, 3248 Highway 83, 59868.
