Seeley Lake needs a celebration and we need your help!

Your local volunteer team has been working hard to make our upcoming Fourth of July celebration a day to remember! Our theme this year is “Stars and Stripes and Summer Nights,” representing what makes this such a special place, and how important this holiday is to all of us.

Check the posters around town for a detailed schedule, or go to seeleyswanevents.net. We hope to see all of you at one of the events, along the parade route (2 p.m. start,) or at the fireworks. Just like last year, which the same awesome group of volunteers put together, this will be a special day for all of us.

Of course there are costs involved, and your committee appreciates the money you so generously put in our donation jars around town. You can also donate at seeleyinfo.org by clicking on the 4th of July button. Checks can be dropped by the Barn, or mailed to Seeley Lake Historical Museum and Visitor Center, PO Box 905, Seeley Lake, MT 59868. Checks can be made out to SLHMVC.

To honor our military and veterans, we will have a C130 flyover at 2 p.m., and then the parade will start rolling. The Fourth is a wonderful celebration, so let’s all take a day to put aside other concerns and problems, and honor America, on this — the country’s 247th — birthday.

See you on the Fourth!
