I am writing this letter in support of Representative John Fitzpatrick and his candidacy for reelection to House District 76. I’ve known John for several years and during the 68th Legislative Session in 2023, he proved to be a solid and thoughtful legislator. I found him to be a very respectful representative of his constituency and wanted to do what was best for Montana. Additionally, Rep. Fitzpatrick is an extremely accomplished legislator who possesses the leadership skills and legislative experience to successfully move legislation through the legislative process.
I have advocated for military and Montana Veteran issues at the state Legislature for over 40 years. While John never served, he had a solid commitment to understand our issues, asking probing questions and making his decisions based on the facts. Rep. Fitzpatrick was instrumental in securing over $5.5 million dollars in construction funds to advance the completion of the Southwest Montana Veterans Home in Butte during the 2023 session. I am pleased to report that Rep. Fitzpatrick was 100% in voting for our Montana Veterans and our National Guard.
It is because of his solid record with our veterans and National Guard members, I ask you to support the re-election of John Fitzpatrick for House District 76.
