Lesley Jungers

Lesley Jungers was born Lesley Carol Jochim on Jan. 23, 1970, in Bozeman, Montana.

Lesley graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Elementary Education and with a minor in K-8 art. In the summer before her college journey, Lesley met Ed Jungers which eventually - after seven years Lesley would say - led to their marriage on Aug. 6, 1994. Lesley and Ed were blessed with the joy of raising three boys: Cole, born on May 6, 1996; Bo, on June 24, 1998; and Aaron, born on June 5, 2004.

After a few years of teaching, Lesley dedicated the subsequent years of her life to the hardest and most important job of all, a stay-at-home mom, pouring her love and energy into raising her sons.

Beyond raising the boys, she found solace and joy in her artistic pursuits, particularly painting. Lesley's creative talents extended beyond the canvas as she excelled in intricate tile work and landscaping. Her home became a testament to her creativity, adorned with the fruits of her labor and the love she poured into every project. Lesley's commitment to her family and her artistic pursuits left fingerprints across the valley.

Lesley's strong faith and a great family and friend support team helped her endure a six year battle with stage four breast cancer.

She went home to be with Jesus on March 26, leaving behind her love and life lessons through her children, grandchildren and anyone fortunate enough to meet her. She had a huge heart and an infectious laugh that will be greatly missed.

Lesley is survived by her husband Ed, her three boys: Cole and his wife Kate, Bo and his wife Aurora and Aaron. Her parents Larry Jochim (Donna) and Karen Morton (Punk), her siblings Karla Langlois (Mark), Todd Jochim (KC) and Richard Jochim (Cindy). She is also survived by four grandchildren: Emily, Nealan, Declan, Mabel, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her celebration of life service will be held Friday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at the Living Waters Catholic Church in Seeley Lake, Montana. There will be a potluck reception following the funeral at the local community hall. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested any donations be made to Lesley's favorite charity: St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
