Joy Marie Jedrzejek-Clemens 1955 - 2023

Joy Marie Jedrzejek - Clemens, 68, of Indian River, Michigan, passed away on Oct. 11, 2023. She was born on Aug. 20, 1955, in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Joy, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt and wife will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Joy was a beautiful, loving, and creative soul with a great sense of humor. She was known for her artistic talents and her passion for painting and drawing. Joy owned and operated a sign business and was a skilled sign painter. She also worked in food service for the elementary school in Seeley Lake, Montana, where she made a positive impact on the lives of many children.

In her free time, Joy enjoyed watching University of Michigan and Detroit sports games. She was a true sports enthusiast and loved cheering for her favorite teams. Joy also had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors and exploring the beauty of northern Michigan.

Family was of utmost importance to Joy. She was a dedicated mother, wife, sister and aunt, and her family meant the world to her. Joy is survived by her daughter, Joey Clemens, husband Lynn Clemens, and her brothers and sisters: Steve Jedrzejek (Barbara), Joe Jedrzejek (Linda), and Anne Wynne (Kevin). She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews: Nate Jedrzejek (Rebecca), Andy Wynne (Makenzie), Sam Wynne (Sheri), Dylan Wynne (Cait), and Caiti Jedrzejek. Joy will also be fondly remembered by her grandnephews and grandniece: Brannen Jedrzejek, Jaxton Jedrzejek, Monty Wynne, and Charlotte Wynne.

Joy was preceded in death by her mother, Dell Jedrzejek, father, Steve Jedrzejek, grandfather, Joe Jakubek.

A private service will be held to honor and celebrate Joy's life. Donations can be sent to the Mullet Lake Area Preservation Society. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
