Seeley Lake Library starting summer hours and programs in June

Starting Monday, June 5 the Seeley Lake Library will be changing over to summer hours.

With the end of the school year, the library will not longer be open during regular school hours but will still be open for use as a regular public library.

Non-holiday summer hours are:

•Mondays, 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

•Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

•Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Carrie Benton will be the librarian on staff and will also be leading the Library Book Club, which will meet next on Thursday, June 1 at 10 a.m.

The Library Book Club’s first title for the summer will be “Turn Right at Machu Picchu: Rediscovering the Lost City One Step at a Time” by Mark Adams, a New York Times bestselling travel memoir about an “unadventurous adventurer” recreating Hiram Bingham III 1911 expedition to the fabled Peruvian city.

The library is also excited to announce that Town Pump has awarded them a $1,000 grant to enhance the Summer Reading Program which will begin on Monday, June 12.
