Election results roll in for Rural District Fire Director and Potomac school board trustee, and Seeley Lake Elementary general levy

Missoula County Elections Office reported the unofficial results from the May 2 election.

Results show incumbent Courtney Hathaway received 33% of the votes for the two open positions in the Potomac School Trustee election. She was followed by incumbent Wes Mitchell with 22% and Patrick Brewer with 11%. Five write-ins made up 0.66% of the results.

In the election for the two Seeley Lake Rural Fire District Trustees, Susan Monahan came out on top with 29% of the votes, followed by incumbents Rita Rossi with 25% and Scott Kennedy with 19%. There were 39 write-ins representing a little over 2% of the votes.

394 Undervotes were reported in the Fire District Trustees election. An undervote is when a voter does not select the minimum number of options available and the vote is considered incomplete and disqualified.

A general fund levy for the Seeley Lake Elementary school passed with just under 54% of voters consenting to the measure and 46% voting against.
