SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION Mill Levy

Fiscal Year 07/1/2023 to 06/30/2024

Missoula County will be accepting competitive applications from governmental and non-profit organizations for two grant opportunities. Links to the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for each source of funds will be available on April 4, 2023, at http://missoula.co/fundingopp. Funding will be for twelve months, beginning July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2024. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Applications will be accepted for the following:

COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE FUND (CAF PROGRAM)

Missoula County is accepting competitive applications from governmental or health and human service non-profit organizations that provide basic needs assistance (food, shelter, medical services, and emergency transportation) to at-risk populations in Missoula County. SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION MILL LEVY

(SAP ML)

Missoula County is accepting competitive applications from governmental or non-profit organizations that are engaged in underage substance abuse prevention work in Missoula County. Activities must be research-based. If your organization meets one or more of the following criteria you may be eligible for funding:

(1) maintains a coalition that coordinates substance abuse prevention efforts; (2) provides community education about the risks and costs of abusing alcohol, tobacco and other drugs; (3) offers supervised non-school hour activities that give young people alternatives to drug use and opportunities for positive youth development; or (4) provides early intervention to help youth and families address alcohol, tobacco and other drug problems.
