There were several local students who were among University of Montana 800 graduates and 851 graduates from Montana State University for fall semester 2022. Many others made the Dean’s List from their respective universities and colleges.
Local UM degree candidates were:
• Helmville: Jordan Jarrell, Bachelor of Arts: Mathematics
• Seeley Lake: Amaya Harman, Associate of Arts: General AA and Christopher Mood, Bachelor of Arts: Classics, CUM LAUDE (GPA of 3.40 to 3.69)
The local MSU degree candidate was Ethan Town from Potomac. Town graduated with honors maintaining a GPA between 3.25-3.69.

Dean’s Lists and Honor Rolls
Around 2,700 UM undergraduate students made the 2022 fall semester Dean’s List or President’s 4.0 List. To qualify, students must be undergraduates, earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher and receive grades of A or B in at least nine credits. Students who receive any grade of C+ or below or no credit (NC/NCR) in a course are not eligible.
The several local students made UM’s fall semester 2022 Dean’s List or the President’s 4.0 List. Double asterisks after a name indicate the student earned a 4.0 GPA. A single asterisk indicates a GPA greater than 3.5 but less than 4.0.

Carroll College in Helena named Seeley Lake residents Tegan Mauldin and Nicole Williams to its 2022 fall semester Dean’s List. To be included on the Dean’s List, a student must receive a 3.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale and take at least 12 graded credits in a semester.

The University of Montana Western named 537 students to their 2022 fall semester Dean’s List including Seeley Lake resident Laura Devins and Potomac residents Layne Cooney and Kyla Nelson.
To make the Dean’s List students must be enrolled full-time or for 12 semester credits and carry a minimum 3.33 grade point average for the semester. Devins and Nelson also received Dean’s List high honors.

Montana State University has two Honor Rolls the President’s List and the Dean’s List. To be eligible for the lists, students must be enrolled in at least 12 college-level credits. Students with a 4.0 GPA for the semester were named to the President’s List. An asterisk follows their names below. The Dean’s List includes the students earning GPAs of 3.5 or above for the semester.
