Grant writing training evening planned for Jan. 19

Seeley Lake - The Seeley Lake Community Foundation (SLCF) is hosting a training on grant writing the evening of Thursday January 19, 2023.

In this 90 minute session, Hannah Cortez of The Dotted i will offer hands-on learning activities and expert knowledge on grant readiness, grant research, and proposal writing through the lens of a rural community’s needs. This session will provide key insights into grant activities that work well for a small or volunteer team and how to move the needle for your organization through grant writing.

This hybrid event will be held at the Foundation Building in downtown Seeley Lake. The presenter will Zoom in from Bozeman, and we will gather at the Foundation Building to eat food and watch her presentation together. Those who prefer can Zoom in to watch the presentation remotely. The training is free for anyone to come learn. RSVPs are appreciated. Thank you to Blackfoot Communications for sponsoring food for the event.

SLCF Executive Director Claire Muller says, “Part of the role of the SLCF is to help ‘connect the dots’ to bring funding and resources to our community. We’re excited to support local nonprofits and grow the resources of our community by offering this technical training.”
