During the Youth Hunt at the end of October, Noah Stone, of Seeley Lake, shot this 5x5 white-tailed buck with a 6.5 Creedmore rifle on public land in western Montana. He saw it during archery season and hoped he'd get a second chance since it was the largest whitetail he had ever seen. The buck scored 143 and he plans to get a Euro Mount of it.

Ava Thornsberry, of Condon, harvested this 5x5 elk the morning of Nov. 13 while hunting in the Condon area. This was her first elk harvest and she shot it with a 243. She rounded out her season Nov. 23 with a nice 4x4 whitetail buck.

Tate McNutt, 15 of Condon, shot this 3x4 bull elk Nov. 5 with a .308 at an undisclosed location. This was his first bull he has harvested. He was on a camping/hunting trip with his dad Todd McNutt and two hunting buddies. Everyone helped him pack it out.
