After being introduced to hunting in 2017 by his grandfather Wayne "Papa" Cahoon, Chase Cahoon, of Seeley Lake, is excited to continue hunting in Papa Cahoon's memory. This was his first year hunting and it was "a hunt of a lifetime." He harvested this this 4-point whitetail buck Oct. 22, as well as a turkey. Both were shot with a 6.5 All American Ruger near Libby, Montana. Chase's mother's best friend Jona Bartlett taught him the ropes and he made a life-long friend named Kory, Bartlett's nephew. Now he can add his own antlers to the pair from 2017 that have Wayne and Chase's name engraved on them.
