Seeley Lake Library June News

SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Community Library’s Summer Reading Program runs June 15 – Aug. 15. Kids earn “book bucks” for each hour they read. Book bucks can be “spent” on associated prizes. Also, each completed Reading Log earns a free ice cream cone at the Ice Cream Place and an entry into our grand-prize drawing Aug. 18.

June’s Library Book Club book is “State of Wonder” by Ann Patchett. The book tells the story of a pharmaceutical company researcher Marina Singh who journeys into the heart of the Amazonian delta to check on a field team that has been silent for two years. This is a dangerous assignment that forces Marina to confront the ghosts of her past.

Books are available for checkout. The Book Club will meet Thursday, July 7th at 10 a.m. to discuss the book.

The Seeley Lake Community Library is located in the Seeley-Swan High School. It is open Mondays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. It will be closed June 16. For more information call 406-677-8995.
