Are we there yet?

Perhaps some of you remember Aleksandr Solzenitsyn the Christian writer from Russia who was stuck in prison for years for speaking out against the evil Soviet system? They finally took away his citizenship and he came to America. Although late in life, in spite of the corrupt Soviet system, he still loved his homeland. He became friends with Putin and returned to Moscow, Russia and died there.

In 1978 Harvard gave him an honorary degree in literature. He gave the commencement address--not against the moral bankruptcy of the Soviet Union but against the spiritual bankruptcy and corrupt materialism of America and western civilization. Godlessness has become the prevailing worldview of western media, western culture and western politics.

Solzhenitsyns' words ring true today. As we look around us any spiritual person can see the moral and spiritual decay of America. Cities on fire, looting, murders in every big city week in--week out. Drugs killing people by the thousands. Corrupt and greedy professional politicians who care only for their party and bank accounts. Invasions on our southern border.

The sexual sins are too long to list...are we headed back to Sodom? Millions of aborted babies, even to the point of birth. Even selling the babies' body parts, sick! Helpless little ones ripped from the womb. Human hands that treated them like trash. No arms would hold and comfort them. But those previous little souls were welcomed into the arms of the Savior. Jesus said, "Let the children come to me...for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

The smut available on smart phones and computers, TV, major news outlets, distort the truth even to the point of lies and brain washing. Trying to convince us man will control the climate, never mentioning the God of creation. God will not be mocked.

Since its conception it's obvious God has blessed America. The way we're headed how can we think God will continue to bless America? God will judge America unless there's repentance and revival!! And that has to be with God's people through inter-fellowship, Hebrews 10:25 and Malachi 3:16.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-5 God marks the terrible times in the last days. Are we there yet?

The COVID curse has spread throughout the planet. What could be next? God builds nations up and He tears them down Jeremiah 18: 7-10.

There's a remnant of God's people out there that are not just playing church. They have the ability to drop their denominational hang ups, come together and pray. Who knows, God may relent – 2 Chronicles 7:14.
