A Note from Missoula Aging Services
Missoula Aging Services (MAS) is pleased to announce they have filled the Rural Resource Specialist position in the MAS Seeley-Swan Resource Center. Kristin Mason, of Seeley Lake, will be taking over the duties previously held by Linda Howard.
"The Agency would like to recognize the years of service and dedication provided by Linda. She was instrumental in providing education and guidance to the Seeley-Swan communities, and we are thankful for the difference she made during her time in that position," shared Rob Edwards, Missoula Aging Services Community Services Director.
Kristin Mason will start April 4th and will be training in the Missoula office for the first few weeks before transitioning full time to the Seeley-Swan Resource Center. She joins the Agency with a background in home health and caregiving in long-term care environments.
Edwards added, "It was a lengthy process to find the right person to succeed Linda and there were several good candidates we considered. Ultimately, Kristin had the perfect combination of experience and skills we were looking for, as well as being a Seeley Lake resident who has a good feel for the needs of the area. We look forward to the Seeley office being able to provide these expanded services again."
MAS Resource Specialists are instrumental in linking people with the services they need including Meals on Wheels, Memory Care Support Services, Caregiver Support and Care Management Programs, as well as providing volunteer opportunities to individuals looking to give back to the community.
Edwards continued, "We anticipate Kristin will be ready to serve the community out of the Seeley office near the end of April."
The MAS Seeley-Swan Resource Center is located in the Seeley Lake Community Foundation building, 3150 Montana Highway 83 N, Seeley Lake, MT 59868. Beginning in late April, Kristin Mason will be available via phone at 406-541-7688.
