Jonelle Marie Fink July 23, 1965 - March 4, 2022

Swan Song

BILLINGS, MONTANA - On March 4 Jonelle Marie Fink, 56, was called home by her Heavenly Father. She was born to Johnny and Wanda Aulabaugh in Corning, California on July 23, 1965.

She married Charles Esparza in 1985. In June of 1985, they were blessed for a short time with the life of their daughter Natalie Marie.

In 1992, they moved their children Christopher, Anthony and Andrea to Seeley Lake, Montana where they raised them in the mountains among the trees. Camping, fishing and huckleberry picking were important parts of their lives.

She met her second husband, Ken Fink, in Seeley Lake and moved to the Billings area in 2006. There, they picked out their dream home and spent the remainder of their 17 years together. Ken and Jonelle enjoyed upgrading their home and making it their own. The Yellowstone River was a favorite spot of theirs to take quiet walks together with their dog. She was an expert gardener and spent many warm summer days tending and caring for her flowers and lawn. Jonelle really enjoyed cooking and had many recipes that her children still crave.

Jonelle was a very kind and loving person. Her love for her children and grandchildren shone as bright as the sun that fed her garden. She was immensely proud of all their accomplishments and spent as much time as she could chatting on the phone, looking at pictures and planning fun activities for when the grandkids came around. They especially loved to do arts and crafts with her. She was a wellspring of art supplies and creativity.

She is preceded in death by her father Johnny and her daughter Natalie.

She is survived by: her husband Ken; her mother Wanda; her sons Christopher (Catherine) and Anthony; her daughter Andrea; her stepsons Andrew (Crystal) and Kevin; and eight grandchildren whom she adored Abigail, Kaleb, Kendall, Jaxson, Johnny, Kira, Lucy and Charlie.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave, in Billings.

In lieu of flowers, please send a memorial to the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter.
