Swan Song

PHILISPBURG, MONTANA - Noel Anne Gibson passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 19 at her home in Philipsburg, Mont.

Noel was born Dec. 13, 1980 in Kalispell, Mont. She moved with her mother to several different places before they finally settled in Seeley Lake, Mont. where she met Earl Ogden and his four children. She has been with Earl for her last 16 years. They moved and made their home in Philipsburg in 2016.

She graduated from Penn Foster High School homeschooling course and has also continued adult education with Penn Foster including getting a certificate in Auto Mechanics. She was still continuing with other courses to further her education.

During her lifetime, Noel worked in Home Health Care, worked as a housekeeper at Double Arrow Lodge in Seeley Lake and was also a Mary Kay consultant for several years. In Philipsburg, she worked at Snookies Mercantile, Camp Creek Homefire Grill and enjoyed volunteering at the H&R Thrift Store.

She had a heart for animals, loved collecting plants and going to yard sales. She also enjoyed hunting after Earl taught her to shoot a rifle.

Noel was baptized in the LDS Church.

Noel was preceded in death by her infant sister Amber, her mother Mary Gibson, uncle Ron, aunt Mona, grandfather Paul Gibson, grandparents Wilber and Gloria Hudson, uncles Mark Denney and Jim Hudson and father- and mother-in-law Willis and Patricia Odgen.

She is survived by Earl Ogden and family, aunt Paula Gibson, aunt Edie, aunt Edna, aunt Martha (David) Knoll and numerous other uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.

Donations can be made to the H&R Thrift Store and the Granite County Food Pantry (Maxville).
