Swan Song
SEELEY LAKE - Chazzy, Seeley Lake's Therapy Assist Service Dog, died after five years of service to our community. We thank you Chazzy.
Chazzy was rescued from Life Saving Animal Rescues in Polson, Montana in 2016 . He was adopted as a mere puppy by Kim Heninger. Chazzy was her fifth Service Therapy Assist Dog for her behavioral health therapy practice.
Heninger trained him and he was broken in as an Alta Care Therapy Assist puppy. Many children know him from his initial service on Linderman Elementary playground and as a Behavioral Therapy Assist Puppy.
Following that they moved to the Seeley Lake Community where he continued to serve as Therapy Assist Service Pet with Heninger at her office at the Sullivan Community Hall, mile marker 15, Highway 83.
In Seeley Lake most everyone knew him to serve children and adults in behavioral health therapy whether on a hike in the nearby mountains giving folks a good place to talk and heal, swimming and stick retrieving serving children while they are processing and talking about their lives while healing, in the office, on the playgrounds, as well as during home therapy visits to serve and love our patients.
Chazzy died with a full life of service under his belt, loving our community's children and adults.
Seeley Lake, thank you also for the love he received from each of you.
