Fire Department BBQ & Open House Sept. 25

SEELEY LAKE – The community is invited to attend an Open House at the Seeley Lake Fire Department, 200 Firehouse Lane, Saturday, Sept. 25 from 12-3 p.m. Come enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers while checking out the equipment and station upgrades including the ambulances and fire trucks; the vehicle exhaust system in the bays; turnout gear extraction equipment; powered gurney and loading system; Lifepack 15 Cardiac Monitor and more. Chief Dave Lane said the volunteers will also be present to share their pride in serving their community.

Weekly COVID-19 update

As of Sept. 20, there have been 141,339 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 981,968 doses of vaccines administered and 479,737 Montanans fully immunized. There are 9,721 active cases, 6,996 total hospitalizations with 358 active, 129,731 recoveries and 1,887 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 12,527 cases, 1,386 active cases, 11,025 recovered and 116 COVID-related deaths to date.
