Free Aging Mastery Program Mondays Oct. 4 – Dec. 13

Missoula Aging Services is offering the National Council on Aging’s evidence-informed Aging Mastery Program (AMP). Registration is open for the fall session that starts Monday, Oct. 4 through Monday, Dec. 13. Classes are held every Monday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Missoula Public Library’s Cooper Room B (fourth floor) and virtually using Zoom.

AMP is a fun, innovative, 11-session class aimed at empowering adults age 55 and older to embrace their gift of longevity by spending more time each day doing things that are good for themselves and for others.  Individuals are encouraged to create their own playbook for aging well by identifying and setting goals for positive actions in 10 dimensions including exercise, nutrition and hydration, sleep, medication management, finances, advance planning, community engagement and healthy relationships. Central to the Aging Mastery philosophy is the belief that modest lifestyle changes can produce big results in cultivating health and longevity.

Pre-registration is required. There is no cost for Montana residents through generous support from the Jane S. Heman Foundation. Register online at https://agingmasterymas.eventbrite.com or call MAS at 406-728-7682.
