Lions Firewood Raffle winner keeps wood

SEELEY LAKE - Bob Weston, brother to Seeley Lake Lion Richard Weston, won the firewood in the annual Lion’s Raffle. Instead of $200 cash, he chose to keep dump truck load of cut and split firewood.

“We very much appreciate all the support. We did very well,” said Lion Boyd Gossard. “The proceeds will support local Lions Club activities.”

Hospital District meeting July 13 to be held via conference call

Greenough/Potomac Fire Board change

POTOMAC - Due to the holiday, the Greenough-Potomac Fire Department Board rescheduled their regular monthly meeting for July to Tuesday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Potomac Station 2. This meeting is open to the public.

Free Summer Meals Program

SEELEY LAKE – There are free summer meals being offered at Seeley Lake Elementary for anyone 18 and under with no application needed!

Box pick up is Wednesdays 11am-2pm in the cafeteria. Boxes include five days of breakfast & lunch items including fruits, veggies, milk, juice and snacks.

As of July 5, there have been 113,873 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 866,000 doses of vaccines administered and 428,493 Montanans fully immunized. There are 386 active cases, 5,518 total hospitalizations with 56 active, 111,821 recoveries and 1,666 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 9,392 cases, 28 active cases, 9,268 recovered and 96 COVID-related deaths to date.
