Veterans Memorial Cleanup Day, May 18

SEELEY LAKE – The community is invited to join the Veterans and Families of Seeley Lake starting at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 18 for a clean up day at the Veterans Memorial Gardens on Highway 83 north of the Seeley Lake Motor Lodge.

Participants are encouraged to bring work gloves and tools to assist with raking, slash pick-up and working in the flowerbeds. A crew will also be working on mounting the new plaques to the Veterans Memorial Kiosk.

Those with family members who were listed on the wood plaques are encouraged to pick up the wooden plaques from the Veterans & Families of Seeley Lake.

Weekly COVID-19 update

As of May 10, there have been 109,935 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 747,660 doses of vaccines administered and 351,189 Montanans fully immunized. There are 1,101 active cases, 5,091 total hospitalizations with 71 active, 107,242 recoveries and 1,592 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 9,075 cases, has 60 active cases, 8,922 recovered and 93 COVID-related deaths.
