Satellite Office closed March 11

SEELEY LAKE - The Missoula County Treasurer’s Satellite Office (3360 Highway 83N) will be closed on Thursday, March 11. They will resume regular hours March 25 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., closed for lunch 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Winter Snowshoe March 14

SEELEY LAKE – Clearwater Resource Council invites everyone to its first, socially-distanced nature walk event March 14 from 12 – 3 p.m. The walk will leave from the Canoe Trailhead at the Seeley Lake Ranger Station. Gather friends, grab your snowshoes and join us to learn about winter wildlife sign and winter ecology!

This event, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, will feature animal track identification expert and Wildlife Biologist Scott Tomson. The walk will be approximately two - three miles. Dress appropriately and bring your own snowshoes, water and snacks.

Weekly COVID-19 update

As of March 1, there are 100,003 cases of COVID-19 in Montana. There have been 255,746 doses of vaccines administered and 88,387 Montanans fully immunized. There are 1,609 active cases, 4,584 total hospitalizations with 68 active, 97,037 recoveries and 1,357 deaths in Montana due to COVID-19 complications. Missoula County has had 8,177 cases, has 136 active cases, 7,959 recovered and 82 COVID-related deaths.
