Editor’s Note
As the Holiday Season approaches, many of the annual events that our communities know and love are being cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic including Old West Christmas in Ovando, the Rich Ranch Community Appreciation Day, Christmas Comes Home in Potomac, the Seeley-Swan Mountain Bells concert and the Frostbite Festival in Condon.
Even though crafters and artisans may have had ample time to produce their wares, the opportunities to sell them is also greatly diminished with the cancellation of most of the craft shows and holiday bazaars that normally accompany those events.
In an effort to support our local businesses and vendors and provide an opportunity for our readers to shop local without leaving their home, this year the Pathfinder is changing things up as well. Instead of our traditional December “Home of the Holidays” calendar sponsored by our local businesses, we will be sponsoring the listings from local crafters, artists, vendors, direct sales representatives and businesses in our Nov. 26 issue.
This will be a classified-style listing with the business/vendor name and 25 words printed for free. Vendors can add up to four color images for $5 each or add more text at $0.20 per additional word. Our regular advertising rates apply for block ads.
You can submit your listing through our online Classified system on our website https://www.seeleylake.com/classifieds/placead under the “Pathfinder BVA Special” category. You can also call us at 406-677-2022 or email pathfinder@seeleylake.com.
The deadline to submit a listing is Nov. 20.
While we won’t be running the usual sponsored holiday calendar in the Nov. 26 issue you can still find the events that haven’t been canceled in our Upcoming Events Calendar or online at seeleyswanevents.net
This has been a challenging year for us all. We encourage everyone to support our local businesses, vendors, crafters and artisans this holiday season with your purchases so we can all be a part of the bigger and better events in 2021!
