The Lady Blackhawks swept the week winning all three matches in three sets. This placed them first seed going into District Tournaments this week.

Sophomore Ava Thornsberry said they really clicked as a team and they worked really well together. They had been struggling with their third set but that didn't affect them this time.
The Lady Blackhawks won 25-13, 25-12 and 25-15.
"Winning is always great but our teamwork was really spectacular. We didn't make many mistakes that really cost us," said Thornsberry. "Winning on your home court is always the best because it is supporting your town."
Kovatch again led at the net with 13 kills and six blocks. Johnson put up 17 of the Blackhawk's 21 assists and Sexton led the Blackhawks in digs and aces with six each.
Thornsberry said they are ready for tournaments and hope to make it to State.
"Being first seed is always good and we are just going to keep carrying that momentum Thursday," said Thornsberry.
The Lady Blackhawks will take the home court Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. to face the winner of the Granite versus Darby game Tuesday night. Six spectators per dressed athlete are allowed. They must have an administrative pass to enter. The game will also be live streamed on the Seeley-Swan High School Activities Facebook page.
