MISSOULA – The Blackhawks Cross Country team continued to pick up speed Friday, Oct. 16 at the Linda Vista meet hosted by Darby and Seeley-Swan High School. Head Coach Shawn Holmes said the runners had a great meet where they hosted mainly B schools there for their Divisional.
In the middle school race, eighth grader Sam Ayers took the bronze, setting a new season record of 13:15. He only missed his personal record from last year set at the Arlee Fish Hatchery by 14 seconds.
For the boys, Conner Chadwick placed 49th with a time of 24:35 in what Holmes called "a very tough field." Three B schoo...
