Browder has the right stuff to represent us effectively

I’ve lived in the Swan Valley for 40 years. I’ve worked locally, for Rustics, the Forest Service, DNRC and Swan Ecosystem Center.

Currently I work with Living With Wildlife Foundation, helping to educate visitors to our public lands about camping and recreating and living responsibly in bear country. I’m also a small business owner and member of the Swan Valley Community Council. Sustaining a vibrant and healthy community is a top priority for me.

This is why I will be voting for Tom Browder to represent HD 92. Tom and I share important values. He understands local community issues and he lives in the middle of the district.

He’s keenly aware of the major issues facing our local communities. He’s accessible to hear and discuss your concerns. He feels that, in times like these, community matters more than ever.

Tom grew up in western Montana. He has a lifelong appreciation of our public lands and all that they offer to hunters, anglers, hikers, mountain bikers, snowmobilers and cross-country skiers. Our public lands make our district special. They are a big reason so many of us choose to live here.

Tom is aware of the need for more housing that’s truly affordable. That will enable our local businesses to hire and retain good employees. He also understands the importance of improving rural access to broadband, to ensure that our students get to develop the skills needed to succeed in the 21st Century workforce.

An active volunteer, Tom serves on the Seeley Community Council, the board of the Seeley Visitor Information Center, he has encountered the questions and interests of many tourists in the Seeley-Swan Valley. These visitors are important to our economy. Because Tom understands their needs he’ll be an effective voice in the Legislature on tourism issues.

BESIDES everything else, it’s a no brainer that we SHOULD have someone representing us who LIVES in the district.
