SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Library will resume limited curbside lending services on Tuesday, June 23. In order to protect community members and Library staff from COVID-19 transmission, and in consultation with Missoula City-County Health Department, the following practices will remain in place for the foreseeable future:
REQUESTING MATERIALS: Library users may call 677-8995 to request materials. Calls will be taken Tuesdays – Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Please allow 24 hours for processing of requests. As in the past, you will be notified when your request is available.
CURBSIDE SERVICE: Curbside lending services are available Tuesdays – Thursdays, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Upon arriving at the library entrance, patrons are asked to call 677-8995 to arrange pickup of their available items. If driving, library patrons are asked to stay in their vehicles. All items will be bagged and labeled for convenient hand-off.
PREVENTION MEASURES: Library staff will wear masks and use social distancing and sanitation measures while in contact with library users and other staff. Staff and community members who are sick are asked to stay home. Library staff at high risk of infection will not be working on site.
RETURNING ITEMS: Returns to the Seeley Lake Library may be dropped off in the book drop outside the entrance to the library. The library staff will be unable to accept returns in person. No overdue fines will be assessed.
Seeley Lake Branch Library is reintroducing services in coordination with (a) the Governor’s Directive for the Phased Reopening of Montana and (b) our local City-Country Health Department’s directives. As the nature and trends of the COVID-19 pandemic change, so will our response. The safety and health of our community remains our utmost concern. We look forward to a time when we can once again welcome everyone into our facilities and provide the full array of dynamic, person-to-person services and programs our library users value.
Thank you for your patience during this challenging time and for joining us in protecting our community.
