Public encouraged to engage with Missoula County Community Needs Assessment
Missoula County is seeking community feedback in order to identify needs and gaps in services related to infrastructure, housing, economic development, public services and COVID-19 response and recovery efforts. This feedback will be used to help the County determine the areas of highest need and may become the basis for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) applications to fund needed projects.
To achieve this, we are asking our community partners and stakeholders to complete a brief survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CMCPVNC), which will be available from June 3 – June 17, 2020. A summary of the survey results will be presented during a virtual Community Needs Assessment public meeting on June 25, from 4-5 p.m. This meeting will allow Missoula County to gather public opinion on the needs of the county, to collect suggestions for potential community projects and to prioritize funding needs. For more information about the survey and the public meeting visit www.missoulacounty.us/grants and navigating to the Community Needs Assessment link under Project and Programs.
