Matthew Cardenas: Matthew's favorite memory is attending Camp Utmost and meeting up with his classmate Jalen Kauffman and other friends from the school during the summer. He appreciates all of the help with his math from teacher Danni Parcell and teacher Colleen Harrington for her kindness. Harrington said Matthew is a kind, soft-spoken young man who loves to read, draw and play basketball. She wrote, "He is very thoughtful with all he says and does and has a very clever and dry wit!"

Jalen Kauffman: Jalen's favorite memory was when he, Kyla, Conner, Trista and Christopher hid from their teacher Colleen Harrington for about 30 minutes. "She came in the room we were in about three or four times it was hilarious when she eventually found us," wrote Jalen. Jalen really appreciated Dan 'Lil Danny' Maloughney writing, "He was the best staff that ever worked at the school." Teacher Colleen Harrington said Jalen is a talented musician, loves sports, enjoys reading, is a good leader and loyal friend. Harrington wrote, "Jalen has a wonderful youthful spirit that is present in everything he does."

Nakira Morgan: Nakira's favorite memory was this year participating in the MCT play. "Everyone was together, got along and had fun with each other. It was a really great memory." Nakira thanked her teacher Colleen Harrington for helping her through everything during the school year, talking through problems and being so supportive. Harrington said Nakira is a gifted artist and talented writer who loves animals, music and making any kind of art. Harrington wrote, "She is an outgoing, hardworking, giving and thoughtful young lady."

Cadence Mauldin: Cadence's favorite memory was his eighth-grade basketball season with the SLE Eagles and playing with his friend Nic. At Swan Valley School, his favorite memory was the World Language presentation. "I got to show everyone a little bit about me and my heritage," wrote Cadence. Cadence wanted to thank all of his teachers, especially Mrs. Selleck. "Her classes helped me survive seventh grade," wrote Cadence. He also added a special thanks to SLE Secretary Suzie Teafoe, "Everyday she would greet me at the office when I came in and encouraged me in everything I did." Teacher Colleen Harrington said Cadence is a very talented young man. He is a gifted musician, writer, artist and academic student. She wrote, "He has a terrific sense of humor and brings a sense of enthusiasm to whatever he does!"
