Morris and Gilpin have my vote for Sewer Board

In reference to Don Larson’s letter about selecting the next two new Sewer Board members and to do your homework. Well, I did some investigating for the citizens of the town and here are my findings:

1. Tom Morris is a past sewer board member who protested the sewer and has years of experience on the board and will fight for the alternative solution.

2. Jason Gilpin is related to Tom and knows the facts and state laws on this matter. Jason has been well educated by Tom on this project and also protested.

3. Of the two other guys, one isn’t even a property owner and is a very strong supporter of the system on your dime. How does a non-property owner even have the right to serve on a board? The other is an investor with multiple lots in the phases. He never protested building the system, which should tell you where his stance is.

4. The final candidate’s opening statement at the Seeley Lake Community Council’s forum was that she didn’t really want to run but was talked into it and that she doesn’t know a lot about the proposed sewer system.

So, on my studies, the best two candidates will be Tom and Jason. Protest or not protesting will tell you where these candidates stand and support.

So get the word out to all voters in the Sewer District to vote for Tom Morris and Jason Gilpin in the May election.
