FRENCHTOWN – The Seeley-Swan Boys basketball season came to an abrupt end after a pair of losses at the Western C Divisional.
The Blackhawks had a good start leading Twin Bridges by one at the quarter. However, Twin Bridges took a sizable lead by the half and then blew the game out in the third quarter. Final score was 40-58.
Dakota Wood and Walker McDonald led the Blackhawks with 12 points each followed by Chase Haines with 8, Brayden Rodriguez with 6 and Quinlan Ream with 2. Wood and Haines each had a pair of three pointers while McDonald had one.
Blackhawks: 17, 10, 4, 9 - 40
Twin Bridges: 16, 18, 16, 8 - 58
The Blackhawks then faced stiff competition from St. Regis in the consolation bracket. The Blackhawks were trailing by 12 after the first quarter. St. Regis extended their lead to 16 by the half and then dominated the second half. The Blackhawks fell 28-67.
Ream and Wood scored 9 and 8 points to lead the Blackhawks. Oskar Murphy, McDonald and Haines each scored three pointers and Rodriguez added 2.

St. Regis: 18, 17, 15, 17 - 67
