A haunted good time in Seeley Lake this Halloween

SEELEY LAKE – The goblins and witches will be out at Seeley Lake Elementary Oct. 31 from 6 – 8 p.m. The community is invited to decorate their trunks and bring candy to hand out at the Trunk-or-Treat event in the parking lot. There will be games and a haunted house inside the school. Costumes are encouraged and the event is free to attend.

This is the sixth annual Trunk-or-Treat in Seeley Lake. Trunk decorations can be simple or complex but the main idea is to get together as a community and celebrate the youngsters. They can trick-or-treat all in one spot and members of the community can see them all dressed up in their costumes.

Vehicles can start to park at 4:30 p.m. and must be in place by 5:45 p.m. There will be warming fires and the local fire department will also be there. It will run until 8 p.m. or the candy runs out.

For more information or to reserve your spot please text or call Alex Kues, 210-1755.

This year there will be Halloween games in the gym, the Seeley Lake Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an age appropriate haunted house in the multi-purpose room and the Chamber and Cory’s Valley Market are providing pumpkins to decorate.

If you would like to volunteer or have games you could loan to the event please contact Toni Sexton at tsextonsle@sleonline.org.
