The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks defeated two conference foes last week taking on Victor Oct. 11 and Darby Oct. 12.
The Lady Blackhawks finished off Victor in three sets, 25-13, 25-16 and 25-16.
Sariah Maughan led the Ladies with 10 kills and had the highest hit percentage with 21 kills attempted and just 4 errors. Aspen Conley racked up 6 aces out of 26 serves and she led with 8 assists.
On the defense, Klaire Kovatch led with 4 solo blocks and 1 assisted block. Emma Stevenson and Maughan had 6 digs each while Trista Wendel received 10 serves with no errors.
The Lady Blackhawks found a little more competition in Darby as it took four sets to take the match, 25-15, 24-26, 25-22 and 26-24.
Wendel led the team in kills with 8 kills in 25 attempts with only 2 errors. Maughan also had 8 kills followed by Kovatch with 7. Taylor Dillree led with 5 aces followed by Stevenson with 4.
Kovatch led again at the net with 4 solo blocks and 3 assisted. Three Ladies dug into the double digits in digs with Maughan having 15, Stevenson with 14 and Wendel with 12. Dillree had 16 serve returns with just 2 errors.
This week the Lady Blackhawks are on the road at Lincoln Oct. 19 with JV staring at 4:30 p.m.
