Heidi Van Diest's entry won first place in the Huckleberry Baking Contest adult division. It is a layered huckleberry dessert of sponge cake, gelee and a glaze.
SWAN LAKE - The 38th Annual Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival featured an assortment of huckleberry products, nearly 50 vendors selling hand-made items including jewelry, furniture and art work, game area hosted by Swan Lake Chapel and music by the Ashley Creek Ramblers. Proceeds from the Festival will be used for the Swan Lake community and the upkeep of the Swan Lake Community Center....
