SEELEY LAKE - After serving the community for half a decade, Dr. Todd Fife will leave Partnership Health Center's Seeley Swan Medical Center next month.
Since joining the clinic in 2014, Dr. Fife has helped hundreds of area patients as a family medicine practitioner. He and his wife, Michelle, plan to move to Florida to be closer to their grandchildren. His last day at the clinic will be Wednesday, June 5. Community members are invited to attend a going-away celebration from 3 to 5 p.m. that day at the center.
"Our clinic has really grown since Dr. Fife started here five years ago," said PHC Director Laurie Francis. "He has touched the lives of many people in our community. What I have heard the most from his patients is how he takes the time to really listen to them and that he really cares for them. He has had such a positive impact on our clinic, and we will truly miss him."
Dr. Fife is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine, and he completed his residency in family medicine at the University of North Dakota. He has been board-certified since 2004 and has extensive experience treating patients of all ages. Before he joined SSMC, he spent two years as a medical missionary in West Africa, working in all of the countries from Sierra Leone through Nigeria.
Upon Dr. Fife's departure, Dr. John Miller, PHC's former medical director, will provide care to Seeley patients. PHC plans to recruit a permanent replacement for Dr. Fife this year.
