The crow, robin, Dickon Sowerby, Mary and a lamb finish up one of the songs performed throughout the play to the piano accompaniment of Sandra Abbott. The songs help convince Mary to "celebrate life" and "care for the land and it will care for you." As she learns to enjoy life, she becomes healthier and happier.

Uncle Archibald (Grace Wilson) and Doctor Craven (Connor Davis) are astounded as they enter the secret garden where, thanks to Mary, Ben and other garden helpers, the once barren soil has been transformed into a virtual paradise of flowers, vegetables and fruit-bearing trees.
