SEELEY LAKE - The next Seeley Lake Community Council meeting March 11 will have a full agenda again.
It will start with Josh Slotnick, who was newly elected to the County Board of Commissioners last year. Slotnick will talk about his experience in his first two months in office, how he sees the future of the BCC and his role in it.
Next will be Dr. Kathleen Pecora, the retiring principal of the Seeley-Swan High School. Dr. Pecora will give a retrospective of her nine years running the school and talk about the achievements and challenges of running a rural High School.
She will be followed by Seeley Lake’s new Fire Chief Dave Lane. Lane will talk about his experience and vision for the Seeley Lake Fire Department.
Finally, Matt Walter will introduce himself to the community. Walter is newly appointed to the Recreation Staff for the Seeley Lake Ranger District. He will explain what his mission is and how he plans to go about it.
Like always, there will be an opportunity for public comments on non-agenda items.
The informal part of the meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. next Monday at Seeley Lake Historical Museum and Visitors Center, 2920 Highway 83, with pizza and water. The formal meeting begins at 6 p.m.
