Wendy and Jim Leetch, whose house on Seeley Lane is visible from Highway 83 north of Seeley Lake, went all out with their light display this year after moving from the Garnet Mountains where their electricity was limited, available only by a generator or battery power. With the help of their daughter Amber and Seeley Lake resident Justin Cahoon, they used every extension cord available and lit up the night. Cahoon climbed the more than 100 foot tall ponderosa tree in front of the house adding lights to the entire tree.

Youngsters in Seeley Lake had one last chance to visit Santa Dec. 19 at the Filling Station. This was a welcome surprise for four-year-old Henry Duncan of Bozeman. He was traveling to Kalispell for a medical procedure the next day when his family just happened to stop for dinner. His mother Sarah said the visit couldn't have come at a better time.
