Christine Carbo featured at Alpine Artisans' Open Book Club

SEELEY LAKE - Appearing at Alpine Artisan's Open Book Club Saturday, Oct.19 at 7 p.m. at the Grizzly Claw Trading Company is Montana mystery writer Christine Carbo. She will be reading from and discussing "A Sharp Solitude" her fourth book in her Glacier Mystery Series. There is no charge for this event and all are welcome.

"A Sharp Solitude" is set in the magnificent and brutal terrain of Glacier National Park and its environs. A journalist has been murdered and FBI investigator Ali Paige, though not assigned to the case, is swept into it as her ex-boyfriend Reeve Landon the father of her child Emily, is a "person of interest" and needs her help. When Landon panics and flees into the Park wilderness, Paige pursues him and the forces of nature and law enforcement bear down upon them both.

Christine Carbo is a skilled storyteller and a beautiful writer who creates complex characters and extols the grandeur of Glacier National Park. She follows in the footsteps of Nevada Barr and C J Box in intertwining the celebration of wilderness with a compelling story. Or perhaps she has walked past them.
