SEELEY LAKE – The Tamaracks Resort north of Seeley Lake will be buzzing this Saturday with activities for all ages. The Seeley Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Tamarack Brewfest on the north shore of Seeley Lake, Oct. 13 from 2 – 10 p.m. Everyone is invited rain or shine to enjoy local brews, activities for all ages and live music.
The day starts at the Morrell Falls trailhead with a guided hike leaving promptly at 9 a.m. Then from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. canoe races on Seeley Lake will take place from the beach rental shack at the Tamaracks Resort.
Montana-made vendors, Big Sky, Highlander, Great Northern breweries and live music featuring The Double Down Band and Beat Deaf will start at 2 p.m. There will be fun, family activities throughout the day, including free giveaways and half price kayak rentals.
In the evening, country western line dancing lessons will start around 6 p.m. Enjoy evening bonfires starting at 7 p.m.
There is a $4 entry fee with children ages 10 and under free. Drink tickets and souvenir mugs will be available at the door. Leashed pets are welcome and are invited to play at the waterfront Bark Park.
