Riley Devins begins the 50K. Devins, originally from Seeley Lake, finished in 5 hours and 18 minutes, 30 minutes faster than his finish time last year. He loved running through the Rice Ridge Fire scar. "Being able to roll through that whole burn section was awesome," Devins said. He also enjoyed the social aspect of the run. "I had full on conversations with eight people while we were running on the trail."

Nine-year-old Wyatt Garcia from San Diego, Calif. leading the Bad Bod's 5K at the turn around with 19-year-old Preston McIllece from Salt Lake City, Utah hot on his heels. McIllece passed Garcia towards the end finishing in 19:29, 21 seconds ahead of Garcia who came in second.
