The students read aloud the letter written to them from their friend Copper, the puppy puppet. This demonstrated their ability to read to their parents. The letter said Copper was a little sad because the students will be in first grade next year. But he was also glad because "You can do it. You are good!"

Students had their friends and family join them in the Pledge of Allegiance before the ceremony began.
SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Elementary multipurpose room was standing room only for the annual kindergarten completion ceremony June 1. The kindergartners demonstrated that they learned how to read, write, add, subtract, write number sentences and work well with others.
The students sang the Montana State Ballad and then read a letter from their puppet, puppy friend Copper who joined the graduation. Parents watched a slide show of their children doing various activities in the classroom throughout the year.
The celebration closed with teacher Sheila Devins presenting each student with a personalized completion certificate with photos, validating what they learned throughout the year.
