Democrats voting in the June primary are fortunate to have several talented candidates vying to run against Congressman Greg Gianforte; we need to select the one who has the best chance of winning in November.
I am a firearms owner, hunter, outdoor recreationist and conservationist – and I believe Kathleen Williams is our best opportunity to defeat Gianforte.
Kathleen is clearly the most qualified, experienced and capable candidate. Not only does Kathleen have a strong natural resources background and an understanding of the public land issues so important to Montanans, she is also an experienced legislator. She served three terms in the Montana House of Representatives, where she gained a reputation as an effective legislator who worked across the aisle to achieve positive results for Montana. Her work on the Agriculture Committee is especially noteworthy and allowed her to build relationships and gain respect throughout rural Montana.
In order to defeat Gianforte, our Democratic candidate will need to attract those moderate-conservative voters who supported both Donald Trump and Governor Bullock in the last general election. Kathleen Williams can do that!
