Member of the Governor and First Lady's Youth Leadership Council Hannah Ayers organized the 3-on-3 basketball tournament that raised $100 and collected 156 food items for the Seeley-Swan Community Food Bank.
SEELEY LAKE – Six teams competed in the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament April 22 to close out the Governor's Fight Childhood Hunger Week. Tournament organizer and Seeley Lake Elementary eighth grader Hannah Ayers said during the week $100 was donated and more than 750 food items were collected for the Seeley-Swan Community Food Bank.
Ayers is a member of this year's Governor and First Lady Youth Leadership Council. She was tasked with raising awareness for childhood hunger and organizing the event during Fight Childhood Hunger Week April 17-23.
