Alice Gertrude Bond 1936 ~ 2018

RONAN - Alice Gertrude Bond, 82, passed away Thursday, March 15 at her home in Ronan. She was born in Ronan at the Richwine's place on Terrace Lake Road on Feb. 19, 1936, to Alfred C. and Audrey Reva Mae (Lacy) Wise. Alice graduated from Missoula High School and married Eugene Bond. Alice was a fantastic cook and loved to be around her family and grandchildren.

Alice Bond was raised in the Swan Valley on Salmon Prairie Road by her parents.  Alfred and his brother Victor started Baptist Church services at their homes and later were instrumental in building the Swan Valley Baptist Church located across the road from where Alice was raised.  Her family moved to Missoula so she and her siblings could attend high school. 

 Alice leaves behind her husband of 62 ½ years Eugene; six children Linda, Kathleen, Barbara, Laura, Michael and Jonathan; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Alice's life was held Saturday, March 24 at 11 a.m. at the Terrace Lake Community Church in Ronan.
