Swan Song
SEELEY LAKE - Norman Leslie Hall was born to Phyllis and Robert Hall on April 7, 1949. He grew up in Dalton, Massachusetts.
On a trip with his family he fell in love with Montana. Attending the University of Montana he graduated in 1971 with a degree in forestry.
He lived the rest of his life in Montana. Working in the woods, on ranches and lastly at Pyramid Mountain Lumber retiring in 2014.
Norm was active in Seeley Lake in the local Senior Center, playing pinochle with several groups, the local pool league and attending high school sports. He also was an avid bowler, playing on teams in Missoula. He was always available to give a helping hand wherever needed. Of course, he was a Griz fan, particularly football.
He is survived by his sister Bettilou Hall Shieh, a brother Kenneth Hall, two nieces, three nephews and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held April 14 at 3 p.m. at the Senior Center in Seeley Lake. This will be a potluck with the seniors providing spaghetti. There will be a time to share memories and stories.
