Jesus Loves the Little Children

Of this there can be no doubt for in the Good Book in Mark 10:16 Jesus took the children in His arms, put His hand on them and blessed them.

It should trouble us all to hear how many children are abused and neglected. The little ones are denied the joy, love, security and correct discipline that childhood deserves.

What troubles my soul is Planned Parenthood and their lack of compassion for the unborn. The callous way they sell baby body parts makes Hitler look like a day care provider.

The last year I could find was 2014 - 926,000 helpless little ones were aborted in America. Worldwide the World Health Organization estimated 40 to 50 million little ones were aborted.

Almighty God told Jeremiah, “before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” It was a sobering thought to me the first time I read that many moons ago, God knew this backwoods bunkin before he was born.

All the population controllers are out there screaming, “We need to control earth’s population.” They don’t mind it when someone else is deprived the gift of life. After all they’re enjoying life, why should they care about a blob of tissue.

Great man of God, Pastor Ted Goodwin once said he loved to see babies smile, “They are so sincere.”

We have 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I couldn’t even imagine any of our four children wanting to abort their children. Their fear of God and their love for children and the way they were raised gives them the proper outlook on life.

We all realize some women are caught between a rock and a hard place. How could they raise this child by themselves? What would people think? Some women raised their child and never regretted their decision. Also out there are loving couples that will adopt that infant and give it a shot at life.

Anyway, how does that old song go? “Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.”
